Private Membership Association

Protecting Our Community and Sacred Practices

What is a Private Membership Association?

evōke is an auxiliary of Be Well Ministries and a Private Membership Association (PMA) dedicated to fostering a private community where members can exercise their inalienable rights to freedom of association, religion, and self-determination. By operating in the private domain, evōke ensures that all activities, including the use of sacred sacraments, remain protected from external governmental oversight, as guaranteed by the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR), the U.S. Constitution, and Natural Law.

Why Operate in the Private Domain?

The private domain allows evōke members to conduct business and engage in practices free from unwarranted government interference. This structure protects our community by:

– Ensuring privacy in all member activities and interactions.

– Protecting the sacred use of Earth medicines, recognized as an inalienable right gifted by the Creator.

– Providing a platform for members to seek counsel on health, spirituality, and other private matters without external regulation.

– Upholding constitutional rights, including freedom of religion, speech, assembly, and protection from unreasonable searches.

Our Membership Agreement

By joining evōke, members agree to a set of principles that safeguard our community and its practices. Key commitments include:

Voluntary Membership: Members join freely as private individuals, not as public entities, and agree to keep all activities within the private domain.

Sacred Rights: Members acknowledge the sacredness of life from the soil and their right to access and use Earth medicines responsibly.

Non-Interference: Members confirm they are not agents of any governmental or regulatory body seeking to undermine the Association.

Dispute Resolution: Any disputes are resolved privately through Peacemaker Equity (PeacemakerEquity.com), ensuring fairness under equitable and biblical law.

Community Standards: Membership may be terminated if a member’s actions harm the Association’s principles or community.

Members also agree to a strict non-disclosure policy, refusing to share private Association matters with external agencies unless a clear and present danger exists.

Protecting Our Sacrament Use

evōke recognizes that Earth medicines—sacred gifts from the Creator—are integral to our spiritual and healing practices. By operating as a PMA, we ensure that members can access and use these sacraments without interference, as protected by our rights to religious freedom and self-determination. Our private framework allows members to make informed, autonomous decisions about their spiritual and health practices.

U.S. Constitution – First Amendment

– Guarantees freedom of religion, speech, and assembly.

– Allows evōke to form a private association for religious practices, shielding sacrament use from public oversight.

Religious Freedom Restoration Act (RFRA) of 1993

– Prohibits the federal government from substantially burdening religious exercise without a compelling interest.

– Protects evōke’s use of Earth medicines as sacraments, as seen in cases like Gonzales v. O Centro Espírita (2006), which upheld private sacramental use under RFRA.

Religious Land Use and Institutionalized Persons Act (RLUIPA) of 2000

– Extends RFRA-like protections to state and local actions.

– Supports evōke’s private gatherings by limiting government restrictions on religious activities.

Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR), Article 18

– Affirms the right to practice religion privately and collectively.

– Reinforces evōke’s global and moral framework for sacrament use, as noted in its membership agreement.

Conclusion

By upholding privacy, sincere belief, and non-interference, evōke ensures members can responsibly use Earth medicines as sacraments while exercising their constitutional and natural rights. Despite these safeguards, there is no guarantee of protection if authorities are provoked, and members may find themselves in a defensive position. To avoid this, members should act wisely and with discretion so as not to attract unnecessary attention.
